During these challenging times, it’s important that you stay connected with us. One way you can do that is by signing up for My Transit to receive alerts and advisories that affect your trip. My Transit updates include:
- Delays of 15 minutes or more 24/7, weekdays and weekends.
- Schedule changes and other service adjustments.
- Station advisories at your origin and destination stations, including elevator and escalator outages and boarding changes.
- Other important announcements from NJ TRANSIT affecting your trip.
Alerts are short messages that can be delivered to your cell phone, mobile device or email inbox. Advisories are longer messages that provide details about service adjustments, detours, boarding changes and more.
For those of you with the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App ®, push notifications are also available if your trip is impacted by service disruptions. To receive push notifications, enable notifications for the app, and customize alerts within the app by selecting your train times, bus route and/or light rail line. If you don’t have the mobile app yet, you can find it at the App Store or on Google Play.
