REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Trenton Transit Center Commercial/Retail Space

NJ TRANSIT is interested in receiving Expressions of Interest from experienced, financially sound individuals or entities to operate a retail establishment such as, but not limited to consumer goods, branded cellular phones, electronics, gifts, business needs, bank or similar use at Trenton Transit Center.

Trenton Transit Center is a primary transportation station attracting passengers from NJ TRANSIT commuter rail lines, Amtrak, SEPTA and additional passengers from Light Rail, as well as NJ TRANSIT buses with service to points throughout Trenton and the State of New Jersey.  The successful proposer will join other reputable retail tenants such as McDonald’s, Faber Newsstands/Dunkin' Donuts and Auntie.

Available for bid is space comprising 580 square feet centrally located on the concourse near the Wallenberg entrance of NJ TRANSIT’s Trenton Station.  The ceiling height is approximately 13 ft. 10 inches.  The facade of the space provides sufficient opportunity for signage, in order for the tenant to effectively promote their establishment.

Selection of a Lessee will be based upon review of proposals submitted to NJ TRANSIT in response to a Request for Proposal package issued to parties submitting an Expression of Interest.
