Perth Amboy Station Enhancement Project Update – Beginning Monday, January 30, 2023

UPDATE: Beginning Monday, January 30 and continuing until further notice, the west end of the Track 1 platform (to Long Branch/Bay Head) will be inaccessible while NJ TRANSIT continues work on the Perth Amboy Station reconstruction project.

NOTE: The east end of the Track 2 platform (to Newark/New York) at Perth Amboy Station continues to be inaccessible due to new platform construction. Customers should board trains in open platform areas and obey all posted signs.

Limited Parking Options:

A portion of the commuter parking lot located adjacent to Market Street continues to be temporarily closed. Customers may use other available parking spaces in the lot.

For your safety, please obey all posted signs, and do not travel through barricaded areas. Please listen for crew announcements as some train doors may not open during construction.
