GLADSTONE BRANCH SERVICE ADJUSTMENT BETWEEN STIRLING AND SUMMIT ON SATURDAY

Substitute bus service to be provided

NEWARK, NJ - Train service between Stirling and Summit stations on the Gladstone Branch of the Morris & Essex Lines will be temporarily suspended on Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During this time NJ TRANSIT will perform maintenance work on the Springfield Avenue Bridge in New Providence, and refurbish the track between the two stations.

Alternate shuttle bus service will be provided between Stirling and Summit and intermediate stations. Customers should present their train ticket, pass or seat check to the bus operator upon boarding. Buses will depart outside station buildings at scheduled train departure times.
