REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Hoboken Terminal Retail Wine & Alcoholic Beverage Concession 

NJ TRANSIT is interested in receiving Expressions of Interest from experienced, financially sound, reputable individuals or entities to propose operation of a retail concession for the sale of wine and other alcoholic beverages at NJ TRANSIT’s Hoboken Terminal.

NJ TRANSIT’s Hoboken Terminal attracts weekday patrons boarding NJ TRANSIT commuter rail lines and other transportation services such as NJ Transit Light Rail and Bus, NY Waterway, and PATH services. The Terminal is located  along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, connecting pedestrians to Hudson County’s most scenic waterfront neighborhoods and businesses. It is also just steps from the heart of the bustling Hoboken commercial and residential district. Lastly, Hoboken Connect, the long-envisioned revitalization project of the area in and around the Terminal is set to kick off in the very near future.

The available premises known as Space “J” is currently occupied by a liquor store serving a variety of alcoholic beverages.  The available space consists of approximately 900 square feet, located . The sale of food is prohibited.  Proposers should include attractive improvements and designs that will complement the retail environment at Hoboken Terminal.

Selection of a lessee(s) will be based upon review of proposals submitted to NJ TRANSIT in response to a Request for Proposal package issued to parties submitting an Expression of Interest.
