Bus route 83 is operating on a detour in Union City. Bergen Turnpike is closed from JFK Boulevard to Union Turnpike for fire department activity. Buses to Jersey City will use Routes 1 and 9, Paterson Plank Road, Columbia Avenue, 30th Street, JFK Boulevard and 32nd Street. Buses to Hackensack will use JFK Boulevard, Route 495,  Routes 1 and 9, Union Turnpike and Bergen Turnpike.
