Roselle Park Station

On Thursday, May 8 & Friday May 9, NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service to/from Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium for the Kendrick Lamar and SZA concert.

For general information about how to get to and from MetLife Stadium, click HERE.

Note that all MetLife Stadium rail trips are served via shuttle train to/from Secaucus Junction/Hoboken and Meadowlands rail stations. There is no direct rail service to Meadowlands Station from any other rail line or station.

  • Service TO Meadowlands Station FROM Secaucus Junction will begin at 4:53 PM. MetLife parking lots open at 2:00 PM. MetLife gates open at 5:00 PM.

  • The final Meadowlands Station-bound train will depart FROM Secaucus Junction at 8:45 PM.

Note: The last train FROM MetLife Stadium will not depart Meadowlands Station any earlier than 1:00 AM.

Customers are strongly advised to plan ahead and carefully check rail schedules for service from Secaucus to Penn Station New York and Hoboken Terminal after the event. Customers can use PATH service to New York from Hoboken Terminal. (Please note that PATH service will not be cross-honored for this event).  

Customers connecting with trains at Secaucus should check their train schedules and allow for additional time in order to make their train connections. Visit Train Schedules for service details.

Customers traveling on NJ TRANSIT trains to MetLife Stadium should purchase their round-trip tickets from their originating station TO MEADOWLANDS STATION to avoid delays when boarding trains. Tickets purchased on the train will include a $5 surcharge for each ticket.

Beginning Monday, May 19, and continuing through Friday, May 23, each day from 9:30 AM until 4:00 PM, eastbound trains between Garwood Station and Newark Penn Station/Penn Station New York may be delayed up to 10 minutes due to track maintenance.

Beginning Monday, April 28, and continuing through Friday, May 16, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, westbound trains (to Raritan/High Bridge stations) may be delayed up to 15 minutes at Bound Brook to High Bridge stations due to track maintenance.

Roselle Park Station

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the east end of the platform at Roselle Park Station will be closed due to an ongoing ADA improvement project. From mid-platform to the west end will remain open for customer access, including the westward stairs, with continued access to all Eastbound Newark/New York trains and all Westbound trains to Raritan and Highbridge.

Over the course of this project, customers can expect further improvements to the station building and parking lot, as well as construction of a new tunnel and elevator.

Customers are strongly encouraged to comply with all signs and barriers.
