Newark Penn Station: Track 5 South Entrance Temporarily Unavailable for Step-Replacement Work - Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the north entrance to Track 5, located in the main concourse at Newark Penn Station (near the new Dunkin Donuts off the main waiting room) will be temporarily inaccessible due to step-replacement work. 

During this time, customers may access Track 5 via the escalator or staircase located in the main concourse’s south entrance (adjacent to the NJ TRANSIT Customer Service counter) or Elevator 42, located in north concourse (left of the Amtrak Customer Service counter).

For your safety, please obey all posted signs, and do not travel through barricaded areas.
