UPDATE: Newark Broad Street Station: Eastbound/University Avenue Staircase Temporarily Closed for Platform Work - Effective Immediately

UPDATE: Extended end date below.

Effective immediately and continuing through approximately late September 2021, Newark Broad Street’s University Avenue staircase, located on the Eastbound Platform of Track 2, will be temporarily out of service for platform repairs. 

During this time, customers may travel to the Newark Broad Street main entrance and use the staircase on Martin Luther King Blvd. to access the western location of the platform. Elevator service to access platform of Track 2 is available in the station plaza area.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to enhance Newark Broad Street Station.
