Go early, take your time, and walk to the arena from there.
Getting there: Ferry Street exit from Newark Penn Station. The district starts immediately.
Got 30–60 Minutes? Downtown
Exit Newark Penn Station via the Market Street exit and head to the right down Market Street 2-3 blocks to get into downtown. Tons of bars and restaurants on Market Street, Broad Street, and other nearby streets.
Getting there: 5-minute walk from Newark Penn Station, or Light Rail to Military Park station.
Tight on Time? Go Straight In.
