Kids ride free on NJ TRANSIT all holiday weekend

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT is reminding customers that holiday schedules will be in effect on Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 20.  In addition, families can take advantage of savings all weekend long through NJ TRANSIT’s Family Super Saver Fare, which allows up to two children 11 and younger to travel free with each fare-paying adult. 

PRESIDENTS’ DAY SERVICE AT A GLANCE

On Monday, February 20, trains will operate on a weekend/major holiday schedule on all lines, with additional trips on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex, Montclair-Boonton and Port Jervis lines, as shown in the timetables.

Bus schedules vary by route—customers are advised to check their timetables or visit njtransit.com for schedule information.

Hudson-Bergen Light Rail will operate on a weekend schedule.  Newark Light Rail will operate on a Saturday schedule.  River Line will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

On weekends, kids ride free on NJT

For Presidents’ Day, NJ TRANSIT’s Family Super Saver Fare, which allows up to two children 11 and younger to travel free with each fare-paying adult, will be in effect from
7 p.m. Friday, February 17 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, February 21.
