RIDE THE TRAIN TO THE TAYLOR SWIFT CONCERTS THIS WEEKEND, JULY 20 THROUGH JULY 22

NEWARK, NJ – NJ TRANSIT is offering rail shuttle service between Secaucus Junction and the Meadowlands to accommodate customers attending the Taylor Swift concerts this weekend, July 20th through the 22nd.

 

 

Special Notes: All concertgoers, including those traveling via Hoboken, riding the shuttle before or after the concert will be required to change trains at Secaucus as there is no direct service from any NJ TRANSIT train line to the Meadowlands rail station for this event.

 

Customers traveling on NJ TRANSIT trains to the Meadowlands Sports Complex should purchase round trip tickets from their originating station to THE MEADOWLANDS SPORTS COMPLEX to avoid delays boarding trains. Tickets purchased on the train will include a $5 surcharge for each ticket.

 

NJ TRANSIT offers a Meadowlands online ticketing option where customers can purchase round-trip adult tickets from their originating station to the Meadowlands Sport Complex. Up to eight tickets may be purchased in one transaction.

 

NJ TRANSIT MyTixâ  customers can also use the mobile app to conveniently purchase tickets to the Meadowlands Sports Complex. Mobile tickets include a barcode to scan for access through the fare gates. Select Meadowlands as the destination for events at MetLife Stadium. The NJ TRANSIT MyTixâ  app is available free from the App Storeâ  and Google Play™.

Customers are strongly advised to plan ahead and carefully check NJ TRANSIT rail schedules for connecting service from Secaucus to Penn Station New York and Hoboken Terminal after the event. Customers can use PATH service to New York from Hoboken Terminal. (Please note that PATH service will not be cross-honored for this event).

 

The shuttle services will run on the following schedule:

 

Friday, July 20th: Pre-Concert Secaucus to Meadowlands beginning at 5:17 p.m.

  • Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart Secaucus at 5:17 p.m., 5:34 p.m., 5:53 p.m., 6:18 p.m., 6:16 p.m., 6:52 p.m., 7:14 p.m., 7:31 p.m., 7:31 p.m., 7:51 p.m., 8:12 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.

  • Each train will arrive at the Meadowlands approximately 13 minutes after departure.

 

Friday, July 20th: Post-Concert Meadowlands to Secaucus Beginning at 7:04 p.m.

  • Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart the Meadowlands at 7:04 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m., 11:15 p.m., 11:30 p.m., 11:45 p.m. on the 20th, and 12:01 a.m., 12:13 a.m., 12:25 a.m., 12:37 a.m., 12:49 a.m., and 1:00 a.m.

  • Each train will arrive at Secaucus approximately 13 minutes after departure.

  • The schedule may be moved up if the event ends earlier than expected, and additional service may operate after 1:00 a.m. if significant crowds require transportation.

 

Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd Pre-Concert Secaucus to Meadowlands beginning at 5:01 p.m.

  • Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart Secaucus at 5:01 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 5:34 p.m., 5:48 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 6:34 p.m., 6:47 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 7:48 p.m., 8:03 p.m., and 8:37 p.m.

  • Each train will arrive at the Meadowlands approximately 13 minutes after departure.

 

Saturday, July 21st: Post-Concert Meadowlands to Secaucus Beginning at 6:45 p.m.

  • Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart the Meadowlands 6:45 p.m., 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:45 p.m.; 10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., and then depart every 15 minutes until at least 1:00 a.m.

  • Each train will arrive at Secaucus approximately 13 minutes after departure.

  • The schedule may be moved up if the event ends earlier than expected, and additional service may operate after 1:00 a.m. if significant crowds require transportation.
