NJ TRANSIT ANNOUNCES SYSTEM-WIDE BAN ON BEVERAGES FOR SANTA CON

NEWARK, NJ‘Tis the season for Santa Con and in advance of the annual social gathering NJ TRANSIT is alerting customers of the agency’s ban on beverages throughout the transportation system.

This restriction will be in place from Saturday, December 17th to early morning Sunday, December 18th.  

As per existing NJ TRANSIT policy, beverages are not permitted on NJ TRANSIT buses at any time – not just during this particular event.

 

This policy will be strictly enforced.

Due to a football game at the Meadowlands on this day, crowding conditions may occur when traveling to and from Hoboken.
