Asbury Park

North Jersey Coast Line

Forget the stresses of the drive and finding parking down the Shore. The North Jersey Coast Line offers convenient daily service from New York Penn Station to Asbury Park and beyond. Check out our rail system map  to see if we have rail service near you. The Asbury Park Station is just steps from many bars and restaurants on and near Cookman Avenue and just a short walk away from the Asbury Park Boardwalk.

Don't feel like fighting for "Jersey Shore in the summertime" parking when traveling from event to event? The following buses travel to and through Asbury Park:

Atlantic City 

Atlantic City Rail Line

Board the train and forget the hassle and expense of driving. The Atlantic City Rail Line offers convenient daily service from Philadelphia 30th Street Station to Atlantic City Rail Terminal. You can also board Atlantic City Line trains in:

  • Pennsauken
  • Cherry Hill
  • Lindenwold
  • Atco
  • Hammonton
  • Egg Harbor City
  • Absecon

The Atlantic City Rail Terminal is adjacent to the Atlantic City Convention Center, just a few blocks from the boardwalk.

Newark

NJ TRANSIT Rail & Light Rail

If you live in North Jersey, Central Jersey, or New York City, you’re just a train ride away from Newark. Newark Penn Station offers daily service for the Northeast Corridor Line, North Jersey Coast Line, and Raritan Valley Line. Newark Broad Street offers daily service for the Morris & Essex Line and the Montclair-Boonton Line.

Connections to both stations are 15-30 minutes from Secaucus (Main-Bergen County Line and Pascack Valley Line) and New York City.

NJ TRANSIT offers Newark Light Rail service throughout much of Newark. The Newark Light Rail (NLR) travels from Grove Street, in Bloomfield, to Newark Penn Station, passing by the Prudential Center, at Military Street Station, along the way. The Newark Light Rail also operates between Newark Broad Street and Newark Penn, serving the NJPAC at Center Street Station.  Check out the Newark Light Rail map for more info.
