We Want to Hear From You

Newark Penn Station is a vital part of Newark and the larger community that lives, works, and plays in and around Newark. We need your help to modernize Newark Penn Station. Your input is vital, please sign up for updates, join us at an outreach event, or provide feedback in the comment form below. 

Survey

As part of the project, we conducted a brief survey to learn how we can improve the station to better meet your needs.

The survey closed on Friday, September 9th. Thank you to everyone who participated.

A full survey report will be included as part of the final Master Plan.

Events

The first public meeting for the Newark Penn Station Modernization Project was held via Zoom on August 9, 2022. To view the presentation slides click here.

There will be two additional public meetings throughout the duration of the project. Information regarding these public meetings will be shared here and on other media platforms. The second public meeting is anticipated to be held in Winter 2023 and the final public meeting is anticipated to be held in Spring 2024.

In support of the project, NJ TRANSIT will also engage and inform the public and specific groups of stakeholders about the project at various community events.
