To Midtown Manhattan

New York Penn Station in approximately 30 minutes.

  1. Take AirTrain Newark from your terminal to Newark Liberty International Airport Rail Station. Your NJ TRANSIT ticket covers the AirTrain fee.
  2. Board an NJ TRANSIT train on the Northeast Corridor or North Jersey Coast Line toward New York Penn Station.
  3. Arrive at New York Penn Station — at 31st Street and 8th Avenue in the heart of Midtown. Subway lines A/C/E, 1/2/3, B/D/F/M, and N/Q/R/W are all accessible directly from Penn Station.

To the Financial District

The World Trade Center in approximately 45–55 minutes.

  1. Take AirTrain Newark from your terminal to Newark Airport Rail Station.
  2. Board an NJ TRANSIT train to Newark Penn Station — one stop from the airport on the Northeast Corridor.
  3. Transfer to the PATH train at Newark Penn Station. Take any PATH train directly to the World Trade Center station in Lower Manhattan.
