Access & Getting Connected
- How do I connect to the NJ TRANSIT bus Wi-Fi?
Turn on Wi-Fi on your device, select NJTRANSITWiFi, and connect. No password is required.
- Go to your list of available wireless networks.
- Select NJTRANSITWiFi, this will launch the Accept & Connect display.
- Press Accept & Connect. This will open the NJ TRANSIT free Wi-Fi landing page in your browser to provide links to basic NJ services regarding employment, education, and health.
- Launch your own browser to get to your Wi-Fi needs.
- Do I need to create an account or enter personal information?
No. You can connect without creating an account or providing personal information.
- Is the Wi-Fi free?
Yes. The NJ TRANSIT bus Wi-Fi is provided free of charge.
- Why don’t I see the NJTRANSITWiFi network listed?
The full NJ TRANSIT bus fleet is targeted for free Wi-Fi, either via installation on buses currently in the fleet or on new buses replacing older buses. Also, the service may be temporarily unavailable due to technical or service conditions.
