HOLIDAY SERVICE - PRESIDENTS' DAY (FEBRUARY 16, 2026)

On Monday, February 16th, NJ TRANSIT services will operate on modified schedules in observance of Presidents' Day.

Train service will run on a Portal cutover enhanced weekend schedule with service to/from NYC. Trains will not be diverted to Hoboken and tickets will not be cross-honored with PATH. 

Bus and Light Rail service will operate on modified schedules.

NJ TRANSIT operates on a holiday schedule on the following days: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Service levels may differ from regular weekday or weekend schedules. Customers are encouraged to check schedules in advance and allow extra travel time when planning trips on these dates.
