Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes - Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026

Both days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM: All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms (to Newark Penn Station) at Orange Street and Park Avenue stations. The outbound platforms (to Grove Street Station) at these stations will be closed.

Broad Street Extension: 

Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM: All trains will arrive on the inbound platforms (to Newark Penn Station) at Center Street, Harriet Tubman Square, and Broad Street stations. The outbound platforms (to Broad Street Station) will be closed at Center Street, Atlantic Street, Ball Park, and Broad Street stations.

NOTE: All trains will operate on regular schedules.

Please check all destination signs before boarding and allow for extra travel time.
