NEWARK, NJ ¿
In light of recent threat information related to the New York City Subway System, NJ TRANSIT has stepped up police patrols, K-9 teams, and baggage inspections systemwide.

While there is no specific threat to NJ TRANSIT, NJT Police, working with New Jersey State Police, have immediately put into effect enhanced security measures in an abundance of caution.
