The changes include:

  • On the Northeast Corridor (NEC), eastbound Train 3920, which departs Trenton at 6:43 a.m., will stop at Secaucus Junction at 7:40 a.m. to reduce a 14-minute gap between trains to New York.
  • The following Main and Bergen County line trains will have better connection times at Secaucus Junction: 1146, 1152, 1158, 54, 1160, 1110, 1264, 1201, 49, 1115.
  • On the Pascack Valley Line, Train 1625 will have a reduced connection time – from 17 minutes to seven – at Secaucus Junction.

Other improvements include:

  • Eastbound NEC Train 3928, which departs Trenton at 7:50 a.m., will make a New Brunswick stop and then run express to Newark Liberty International Airport. The train will arrive in Penn Station New York at 9:04 a.m.
  • Eastbound NEC Train 3710, which departs Jersey Avenue at 8:16 a.m., will run express from Metropark to Newark Liberty International Airport. The train will arrive at Penn Station New York at 9:17 a.m. This train will provide more express service, more seats and improve on-time performance.
