EXTRA TRAINS ADDED FOR OPENING EVENTS AT PRUDENTIAL CENTER

NJ TRANSIT will add extra trains on Thursday, October 25; Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27, for the benefit of customers traveling to and from opening events at the new Prudential Center arena in downtown Newark.

Extra service on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26

• An extra North Jersey Coast Line train (Train 8270) will depart South Amboy at 6:23 p.m. and stop at Woodbridge, Rahway, Linden and Elizabeth, arriving in Newark Penn Station by 6:55 p.m. (This train will continue to New York Penn Station, where it will arrive at 7:14 p.m.)
• An extra North Jersey Coast Line train (Train 8272) will depart South Amboy at 7:36 p.m. and stop at Perth Amboy, Woodbridge, Rahway, Linden, Elizabeth and Newark Liberty International Airport, arriving in Newark Penn Station by 8:12 p.m. (This train will continue to New York Penn Station, where it will arrive at 8:32 p.m.)
• An extra Montclair-Boonton Line train (Train 9299) will depart New York Penn Station at 11:21 p.m. and stop at Newark Broad Street Station at 11:40 p.m., then make all stops to Montclair State University Station at Little Falls.

Extra service on Saturday, October 27

• An extra Raritan Valley Line train (Train 8559) will depart Newark Penn Station at 10:09 p.m. and make all stops to Raritan (except Garwood).
