WESMONT RAIL STATION CONSTRUCTION

Project Scope:

This project involves a public/private partnership with a private sector developer, Wood-Ridge Development, LLC (WRDLLC), to construct a new station adjacent to NJ TRANSIT’s Wood-Ridge Maintenance-of-Way (MOW) facility on the Bergen Line.  Construction of a new center island platform; pedestrian overpass with elevators; and, associated commuter parking provided by the developer are included in the project.   

 

Project Cost:

Approximately $12,000,000.

 

Schedule:

Anticipated completion – Fall 2015

The project will help create a new transit-oriented community.
