FRANK R. LAUTENBERG GROUND TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS

PROJECT SCOPE:

The project involves replacement of the existing curbside operation with modified saw tooth berths in an island configuration.  The new layout will also include curbside layover space which is currently unavailable during peak hours.  Also included are additional canopies, streetscape improvements and increased passenger information technology.

 

PROJECT COST:

Approximately $15.5 million

 

SCHEDULE:

Anticipated completion – Summer 2015

 

BENEFITS:

Improved vehicular ground transportation at the south side of the facility and enhanced customer ammenities.
