RAIL SERVICE TO MONMOUTH PARK KICKS OFF OPENING DAY MAY 4th

 

NJ TRANSIT’s Monmouth Park Package Provides Discounted Admission for Horseracing Fans

 

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT is off to the races! Rail service to Monmouth Park Racetrack for the 2019 season begins on Opening/Derby Day on Saturday, May 4th.  NJ TRANSIT customers can take North Jersey Coast Line trains to Monmouth Park Station when the track is open for live racing. This year the season extends through October 27th.  

 

·         Fridays          June 14 – August 23

·         Saturdays      May 4 – September 28

·         Sundays        May 12 – October 27

·         Holidays        Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day

 

NJ TRANSIT is offering a Monmouth Park package which saves customers $5.50. The package includes roundtrip transportation on NJ TRANSIT to Monmouth Park from any
NJ TRANSIT rail station (excluding Atlantic City Rail Line stations), Grandstand admission and an official track program. The cost is roundtrip fare, plus $3.50.  

You must purchase your package from an NJ TRANSIT Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) or Ticket Office. This package is not available from train crew personnel or with the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App. When purchasing your package from a Ticket Vending Machine, choose "Beach/Monmouth Park Packages" and then select "Monmouth Park Racetrack".  

Monmouth Park has special events all summer! The park features great dining experiences, sports betting and miniature golf. Every Sunday is Family Fun Day from Memorial Day to Labor Day with FREE activities that include pony rides, face painters, clowns and a bounce house.
