Public asked for information on man struck by NJCL train

NEWARK, NJ The NJ TRANSIT Police Department is seeking information from the public that might help authorities identify the man who suffered fatal injuries Monday morning when he was struck by a North Jersey Coast Line train.

The incident occurred on Monday, September 17, 2007 shortly after 7 a.m. on the railroad bridge over the Navesink River on the Red Bank/Middletown border.

The individual is described as a white or Hispanic male in his mid 20s, approximately 58 tall, weighing 150 pounds. He had brown hair, blue or hazel eyes and a thin beard along his jaw line. He was wearing blue Aeropostale jeans, a camouflage hooded zippered sweatshirt, black Diesel sneakers and dark argyle socks.
