New Brunswick Station: Escalator Temporarily Out of Service for Long-Term Replacement Project - Beginning Monday, February 15, 2021

Beginning on or about Monday, February 15 and continuing for approximately one year, the escalator located within the station building at New Brunswick Station will be temporarily out of service due to an escalator-replacement project.

Alternate Building Navigation Options:

  • During this time, customers may use the staircase adjacent to the escalator to access to the 2nd floor waiting room. Note: In the event the staircase becomes unavailable during construction, the elevator tower and exterior stair tower located on Easton Avenue can be used to access the platform and 2nd floor of the station building.

Please note: The station doors on Easton Avenue may be inaccessible at times. The front door of the station building should remain open when the station is open. The waiting room and ticket windows on the 2nd floor as well as the vendors on the first floor should remain open during construction.

For your safety, please obey all posted signs, and do not travel through barricaded areas.
