UPDATE: Long-Term Bus Detour for No. 190 in Rutherford - Beginning Friday, March 6, 2020
Delays of approximately 10 minutes
Beginning on Friday, March 6 at 9PM and continuing long term for approximately 18-24 months, Orient Way will be closed between Barrows and Rutherford avenues due to a Department of Transportation bridge reconstruction and replacement project.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 190 in Rutherford will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward Port Authority Bus Terminal will travel from Orient Way and Woodland Avenue, make a right on Woodland Avenue, left on Ridge Avenue, left on Rutherford Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Paterson will travel from Rt, 3 West and Rt. 17 South, take the exit for Rt. 17 South, continue on Rutherford Avenue, make a right on Ridge Road, right on Van Riper Avenue, left on Orient way, and then continue the regular route.
Bus Stops Temporarily Closed:
- During this time, the outbound (from NY) bus stop at the Rt. 3 Service Road (Thomas E. Dunn Highway) at Orient Way will not be served. Customers may use the bus stop on Orient Way at Crane Avenue.
- The inbound (from Rutherford) bus stop at Orient Way and Barrows Avenye will not be served.
