Atlantic City Rail Line: Teachers Traveling to 2019 NJEA Convention
November 05, 2019

NJ TRANSIT’s Atlantic City Rail Line (ACRL) reminds all guests heading to the New Jersey Education Association’s 2019 Convention that mass transit is a convenient and easy way to travel.

The convention will be held Thursday and Friday, November 7 and 8 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, 1 Convention Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ.

The ACRL runs from Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station to the Atlantic City Rail Terminal in the Atlantic City Convention Center, with stops at the Pennsauken Transit Center, Cherry Hill, Lindenwold, Atco, Hammonton, Egg Harbor City, and Absecon stations.

A train ticket costs $10.75 from Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station to Atlantic City. Purchase your ticket in advance of travel on NJ TRANSIT’s mobile app or at ticket vending machines (TVMs) to avoid a $5 on-board surcharge. Discounted tickets are available for those age 62 and older and customers with disabilities. Restrictions apply.

NJ TRANSIT has express bus service on Bus Route No. 551 between Philadelphia-Camden and the Atlantic City Bus Terminal, which is two blocks from the Convention Center. Customers with an Atlantic City/Philadelphia rail ticket or pass may use that ticket on the Bus Route
No. 551 between Atlantic City and Philadelphia’s Greyhound Terminal located at 10th and Filbert Streets.
