Route 495 Rehabilitation Detour for Nos. 107, 108 and 111 in Union City - Beginning Friday, August 10, 2018
Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 and continuing for approximately two years, 31st Street ramp to Route 495 West will be closed between JFK Blvd. and Route 495 West due to NJ DOT’s Route 495 Rehabilitation project.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 107, 108 and 111 in Union City will operate on a detour.
- Buses will operate their normal routes via the 31st Street Ramp to Route 495 West from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Detour will be in effect from 1:01 p.m. to 5:59 a.m. using 31st Street Ramp to Paterson Plank Road.
Buses traveling toward Newark and Elizabeth will travel from 31st Street Ramp, make a right on the ramp for Paterson Plank Road, continue over Route 3 overpass, take ramp for NJ Turnpike South, and then continue on ramp for NJ Turnpike access at toll plaza 16E.

Buses will continue on Paterson Plank Road, proceed over the Rte. 3 overpass, pass Home Depot and Harmon Meadows to the dedicated NJTP Southbound Eastern spur ramp.
