South Orange Station: Temporary Weekday Express Bus Service to Port Authority Bus Terminal Ends December 16, 2019
NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 107 continues to provide regular weekday service between South Orange Station and PABT.
As of Monday, December 16, the temporary weekday express bus service from South Orange Station to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (PABT) was discontinued. The last day the temporary bus service will operate from South Orange Station was Friday, December 13.
The temporary bus service was offered as a supplemental option during the Amtrak infrastructure renewal at Penn Station New York and will be discontinued. With the completion of that work, and resumption of affected rail service on the Montclair-Boonton Line and Morris & Essex Line, there is no longer sufficient demand to support the bus service.
