North Elizabeth Station: Accessible Boarding Temporarily Restricted - Beginning Monday, September 30, 2019

Beginning on or about Monday, September 30 and continuing for several months, North Elizabeth Station will not be ADA accessible from 12:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. daily due to major renovation work at nearby Elizabeth Station.

During this time, construction will require trains to arrive/depart at platform areas in which use of low-level boarding, train stairs and a temporary walkway will be required for customers to board/alight.

Customers requiring accessible services must use nearby ADA accessible stations such as Newark Penn and Linden during these hours. Note: Elizabeth Station will also not be ADA accessible during these hours.
For more information on accessible options, see the Rail System Map, or visit the Train Schedules or Bus Schedules pages.

Please allow for extra travel time, and for your safety, obey posted signs, and do not travel through barricaded areas.

We thank you for your patience during this important station renovation work.

For more information and language assistance, please call NJ TRANSIT Customer Service at (973) 275-5555 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
