Getting There:

NJ TRANSIT operates the Meadowlands Rail Line, providing direct service to New York New Jersey Stadium from Secaucus Junction. 

Travel Steps:

  1. To Secaucus Junction:
    • From New York Penn Station:
      • Board any NJ TRANSIT train marked with "SEC" to Secaucus Junction.
    • From Other NJ TRANSIT Lines:
      • Connect to Secaucus Junction via the Main/Bergen County, Montclair-Boonton, Morris & Essex, Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Pascack Valley, or Port Jervis lines.
  2. From Secaucus Junction to New York New Jersey Stadium:
    • Transfer to the Meadowlands Rail Line for a quick ride directly to the stadium.

Ticketing:

  • Purchase round-trip tickets to "Meadowlands" via the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App or ticket machines at stations.
  • For match tickets, check out FIFA World Cup site.
  • Be sure to hold on to your ticket, as it includes the transfer at Secaucus Junction to and from New York New Jersey Stadium.
     

Schedule:

  • Service begins approximately 4 hours before the event, with trains running every 10-20 minutes. Check back for further details.
  • During matches, trains run hourly between Meadowlands Station and Secaucus Junction Station.
  • After a match ends, trains run on a “load and go” basis for up to 3 hours, or until the last customers depart.
  • Also after a match ends, NJ TRANSIT will operate supplemental bus service that returns directly to Secaucus Junction station. Customers who have a valid train ticket may also ride these buses at no additional cost. The return trip to Secaucus Junction by bus takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
