ATLANTIC CITY RAIL LINE

Atlantic City Rail Line trains operate between Atlantic City, NJ and Philadelphia's 30th Street Station, with connections to River LINE at Pennsauken Transit Center. NJ TRANSIT BUS SERVICE

NJ TRANSIT provides bus service for many Center City locations including stops along Market Street, Greyhound Bus Terminal and 30th Street Station (at JFK Boulevard).

SEASONAL SUMMER BUS SERVICE

Express bus service operates during the summer season, June 24th to September 4th (Labor Day) between Philadelphia, Wildwood and Cape May. The 316 Bus Route includes a stop at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, allowing easy connections with SEPTA services for fun, summer day trips to favorite family venues. In addition, the route serves the Gloucester Premium Outlet in Blackwood. Save more than 25% when you buy tickets at the promotional round-trip fare. A round-trip ticket at the promotional fare is $30 between Philadelphia and Wildwood and $33 between Philadelphia and Cape May.

Round-trip promotional tickets must be purchased at Wildwood Terminal, Philadelphia Greyhound Bus Terminal, or Philadelphia 30th Street Station (TVMs) or using MyTix, a feature of the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App, and are good for up to 10 days from and including the date of sale. Bus operators are not able to issue these round-trip tickets on the bus. Regularly priced one-way and round-trip tickets are also available and do not have an expiration date.

NOTE: Bus Route No. 316 operates daily seasonal service between Philadelphia, Wildwood and Cape May, June 24 - September 4 (Labor Day). Service to Wildwood and Cape May is available daily year-round on Bus Route Nos. 313/315.

NJ TRANSIT offers a discount round-trip excursion fare between Philadelphia and Atlantic City for $20.00. Round-trip tickets must be purchased at Greyhound Terminal in Philadelphia, Atlantic City Bus Terminal or using MyTix, a feature of the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App. Drivers are not able to issue round-trip tickets on the bus. Tickets are good for up to ten (10) days from and including the date of sale.

Travel tips


  • Traveling by train? Purchase two one-way tickets for your round-trip transportation prior to boarding the train. A $5 surcharge applies to tickets purchased on board if ticket vending machines or ticket agents are available.
  • If you are taking the bus, purchase tickets from Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) at major bus terminals or you may pay the fare on the bus. Most local buses require exact change in coins or $1 bills.

The 316 Bus Route will includes a stop at 30th Street Station (at JFK Boulevard) in Philadelphia, allowing easy connections with Amtrak's Keystone Line and SEPTA services for fun, getaway trips to the shore. In addition, this bus offers service at the Gloucester Premium Outlet in Blackwood.
