Recovery Projects (ARRA)

Project Scope
This project involves the installation of high-level platforms, canopies, heated shelters, and ramps at NJ TRANSIT's Plauderville Station. Plauderville Station is located in Garfield, NJ and serves NJ TRANSIT's Bergen County Commuter Rail Line as well as local bus service. The new high-level platforms and ramps will allow boarding for persons with disabilities. The platforms will be constructed directly adjacent to the existing parking lot, reducing the walking distance between the parking and the low platform current boarding area.

Project Cost
$16 million ($15 million funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009).
