Recovery Projects (ARRA)

Project Scope
This project involves rehabilitation of NJ TRANSIT's bus fleet. The scope includes replacement of the various bus components such as engines, transmissions, pumps, motors, differentials, turbos, compressors and generators. Rehabilitation also includes major bodywork, structural repairs, rebuilding of the fare box, radio and communication equipment, and bus repainting, as needed.

Project Cost
$35 million ($35 million funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009).
