NJ TRANSIT TAKES YOU TO HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES

Riders to Receive Discount on Admissions

NEWARK, NJ, November 5, 2002 – NJ TRANSIT customers can save $10 on New York City show tickets when they take NJ TRANSIT rail, bus or light rail service to winter events throughout the holiday season.

Each winter, NJ TRANSIT teams up with cultural venues throughout the region to offer customers special discounts on winter entertainment. NJ TRANSIT is the way to go to your favorite holiday shows, leaving the hassles of driving at home.

The special entertainment packages include:

  • A Christmas Carol – The Theater at Madison Square Garden. NJ TRANSIT riders can save $10 per ticket to “A Christmas Carol”. For tickets, call Ticketmaster at 212-307-1000 or visit www.thegarden.com and ask for a type code: NJTRAN. Tickets are also available at the Madison Square Garden or Radio City Box Office. This offer is available November 29 through December 29.
  • Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular. NJ TRANSIT riders save $10 on selected tickets to Radio City Music Hall’s “Christmas Spectacular”. For tickets, call the Christmas Hotline at 212-307-1000 or visit www.radiocity.com and ask for type code: NJT. Tickets are also available at the Radio City or Madison Square Garden Box Office. This offer is available November 7 through January 5.
