RIVER LINE SERVICE ADJUSTED JUNE 16 AND 17 FOR TRACK WORK

Northbound service to operate 15 minutes later than published times

NEWARK, NJ — River LINE service will be modified for most of the weekend of June 16-17 to accommodate scheduled track maintenance work in the area of Duck Island that will improve ride quality.

From 6 a.m. Saturday until about 6 p.m. Sunday, northbound River LINE trains will depart Camden’s Entertainment Center Station on the hour and half hour. (Trains normally depart at :15 and :45 after the hour.)

During this period, River LINE trains will continue to operate at 30 minute intervals, as normal, but northbound trains will arrive at each station 15 minutes later than times published in timetables.

Southbound trains from Trenton will operate on a regular schedule.

Northbound trains will resume a normal schedule about 6 p.m. Sunday once the track work is completed. NJ TRANSIT will advise customers of the restoration of regular service at www.njtransit.com and via public address announcements.
