EARLY GETAWAY BUS SERVICE TO OPERATE FOR ROSH HASHANAH

36 extra bus trips set to depart Port Authority Bus Terminal

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT will offer “early getaway” bus service on Friday, September 22, on select routes from the Port Authority Bus Terminal for the benefit of customers observing Rosh Hashanah.

The extra service will include departures at the following approximate times:

  • 113 to Dunellen – 4 p.m. departure from Gate 222
  • 114X to Dunellen (Route 22 Express) – 4:30 p.m. departure from Gate 222
  • 139XL to Lakewood (via Freehold Mall Express) – 3:15 p.m. departure from Gate 321
  • 139XM to Union Hill (Lakewood Express) – 1 p.m., 1:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. departures from Gate 322
  • 139 to Union Hill (Local) – 2:30 p.m., 2:48 p.m., 3 p.m., 3:18 p.m. and 3:42 p.m. departures from Gate 325
  • 139UX to Freehold Center – 3:50 p.m. departure from Gate 322
  • 163T to Ridgewood Terminal (Turnpike Express) – 3:20 p.m. departure from Gate 224
  • 164E to Wortendyke – 12:50 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. departures from Gate 224
  • 164SXB to Midland Park (Saddle River Express) – 3:40 p.m., 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. departures from Gate 53
  • 165P to Westwood (Parkway Express) – 3:35 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. departures from Gate 232
  • 166T to Bergenfield – 2:20 p.m. departure from Gate 211
  • 166X to Bergenfield Station – 3:30 p.m., 3:50 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. departures from Gate 211
  • 167X to Chestnut Bend (Armory Express) – 3:40 p.m., 4:05 p.m. and 5 p.m. departures from Gate 210
  • 190 to Secaucus/Rutherford – 4:30 p.m. departure from Gate 223
  • 192X to Clifton (Route 3 Express) – 2:40 p.m., 3:10 p.m. and 4 p.m. departures from Gate 234
  • 192 to Clifton (via Nutley) – 4:40 p.m. departure from Gate 234
  • 193 to Willowbrook – 2:30 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. departures from Gate 233
  • 194T to Butler – 4:35 p.m. departure from Gate 233
