NJ TRANSIT TO DETOUR BUS ROUTES DURING CONSTRUCTION ON NEW BRUNSWICK AVENUE

Detour to Last Approximately Two Weeks

PERTH AMBOY, NJ, April 16, 2004 – Beginning Monday, April 19, New Brunswick Avenue between Amboy Avenue and Oak Street will be closed for approximately two weeks due to construction.

As a result of the street closure, NJ TRANSIT will detour Bus Routes 116, 813 and 817 beginning on Monday during construction. Buses will detour via East Avenue, Washington Street and Amboy Avenue. Customers who normally board on Amboy Avenue at New Brunswick Avenue or New Brunswick Avenue at Cornell Street must now board buses at other nearby designated bus stop locations.
