Benefits:

The new platforms, ramps and elevators will improve station accessibility for riders with mobility needs.  The waiting room improvements will make the station more comfortable for passengers.

Project Scope:

The project includes the construction of new high level platforms with canopies; two elevator cabs;  inbound waiting room with bathrooms; platform shelters; ramps, stairs, and, new head house for pedestrian tunnel entrance.  Work also includes the rehab of the existing elevator shafts, the pedestrian tunnel, and stairs which lead to South Bridge Street.

Project Cost:

Approximately $23,000,000.
