FRANK R. LAUTENBERG GROUND TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS

PROJECT SCOPE:

The project involves replacement of the existing curbside operation with modified saw tooth berths in an island configuration.  The new layout will also include curbside layover space which is currently unavailable during peak hours.

PROJECT COST:

Approximately $7.7 million

SCHEDULE:

Anticipated completion – Winter 2014

BENEFITS:

Improved vehicular ground transportation at the south side of the facility.
