The Homepage Trip Planner will find the fastest trips within a one mile walking distance of your origin and destination.

To begin, enter your starting address or boarding location (e.g. station or park & ride name). If you start typing a station name or park & ride location, the Trip Planner will suggest locations. You can select these by pressing Enter or Tab. You can also enter any street address or intersection. Be sure to include your city and state. Commas are acceptable, but are not required.

If you prefer to use a particular travel mode (e.g. "rail only," "bus only," etc.), simply select the appropriate button.

You can adjust the date and time to plan a future trip, if desired.

To plan an ADA-accessible trip, check the box next to the word "Accessible."

To plan a trip using other settings, including shorter walking distances and fewer transfers, please use our Advanced Trip Planner by clicking "Advanced."

Extra Holiday Service on Bus Route Nos. 163 and 709

Beginning Friday, November 23 and continuing through Saturday, December 22, extra holiday service will be provided to/from Garden State Plaza. The following lines will have increased service as follows:

Bus Route No. 163 (Ridgewood - New York - Port Authority Bus Terminal) - Saturday, November 24 to Saturday, December 22:
Saturdays
Garden State Plaza to New York via Union City at:

8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

New York to Garden State Plaza & IKEA via Union City at:

10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

New York to Garden State Plaza & IKEA at:

5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.

Bus Route No. 709 (Paramus - Bloomfiel) - Friday, November 23 to Saturday, December 22:
