Newark Light Rail: Boarding Changes due to Construction Work - WEEKEND│November 24-25, 2012

NJ TRANSIT will perform necessary track maintenance on the following dates:

Saturday, November 24 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • All trains will arrive on the outbound platform at Norfolk Street, Warren Street, Washington Street, and Military Park, NJPAC/Center Street, Atlantic Street, Riverfront Stadium and Broad Street stations.  Please check the destination sign before boarding. 
  • Inbound platforms will be closed at Norfolk Street, Warren Street, Washington Street, Military Park, NJPAC/Center Street, Washington Park and Broad Street stations.  
  • IMPORTANT: All trains will operate in two sections on a modified Sunday Schedule as follows:

Grove Street – Penn Station
Penn Station – Broad Street Station

  • Departing Grove Street:  All trains will depart 6 minutes later than scheduled.
  • Departing Broad Street:  All trains will depart 8 minutes earlier than scheduled.
  • Departing Penn Station to Broad Street:  All trains will depart 6 minutes earlier than scheduled.
  • Departing Penn Station to Grove Street:  All trains will depart 10 minutes later than scheduled.

Sunday, November 25 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • All trains will arrive on the outbound platform at Norfolk Street, Warren Street, Washington Street, and Military Park, NJPAC/Center Street, Atlantic Street, Riverfront Stadium and Broad Street stations.  Please check the destination sign before boarding. 
  • Inbound platforms will be closed at Norfolk Street, Warren Street, Washington Street, Military Park, NJPAC/Center Street, Washington Park and Broad Street stations.  
  • IMPORTANT: All trains will operate in two sections on a modified Sunday Schedule as follows:
