On Wednesday, October 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Main Street (Route 166) will be closed between Route 37 and Washington Street due to a Halloween Parade. During this time, Bus Route No. 559 will operate on a detour.
- Buses traveling toward Toms River will travel from Route 166 & Route 37, make a right on Route 37 West, continue on Garden State Parkway South, exit at 81 for Toms River Bus Terminal, right on Highland Parkway, and continue on the regular route to the terminal.
- Buses traveling toward Lakewood will travel from Highland Parkway and Water Street, make left onto Garden State Parkway North, exit for Route 37 East, take jughandle to Route 166 North, continue on Route 166 North, and proceed along regular route.
