Bus Route No. 76 - Detour in Newark
On Thursday July 5th from 5: 00 a.m. until September 3rd at 5:00 p.m., Clay Street Bridge in Newark willl be closed between Passaic Avenue and McCarter Highway due to bridge construction. During this time, Bus Route No. 76 will operate on a detour.
- Buses traveling toward Newark Penn Station will travel from Passaic Avenue, make a left onto Harrison Avenue, left onto Economy Supply Way, to Route 280 East, continue right on Route 280 East to exit for Route 21N/Broad Street, cross over Broad Street, left onto University Avenue and proceed on the normal route.
- Buses traveling toward Hackensack will travel from Broad Street, make a right at Broad Street Station onto Route 280 East, take Harrison exit to Harrison Avenue, right onto Harrison Avenue, right onto Passaic Avenue, continue on the regular route on Passaic Avenue.
