The Homepage Trip Planner will find the fastest trips within a one mile walking distance of your origin and destination.

To begin, enter your starting address or boarding location (e.g. station or park & ride name). If you start typing a station name or park & ride location, the Trip Planner will suggest locations. You can select these by pressing Enter or Tab. You can also enter any street address or intersection. Be sure to include your city and state. Commas are acceptable, but are not required.

If you prefer to use a particular travel mode (e.g. "rail only," "bus only," etc.), simply select the appropriate button.

You can adjust the date and time to plan a future trip, if desired.

To plan an ADA-accessible trip, check the box next to the word "Accessible."

To plan a trip using other settings, including shorter walking distances and fewer transfers, please use our Advanced Trip Planner by clicking "Advanced."

Bus Route No. 28 - Detour in Montclair

June 27, 2012

From 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 4th until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 4th, Bloomfield Avenue and Watchung Avenue in Montclair will be closed between North Fullerton Avenue to Midland Avenue due to a parade. During this time, Bus Route No. 28 will operate on a detour.

Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Valley Road, make a left onto Gordonhurst Avenue, right onto Park Street, bear right onto Watchung Avenue, left onto Park Street, left onto Claremont Avenue, right onto North Fullerton Avenue, left onto Bloomfield Avenue and proceed on the normal route.
Buses traveling toward Bloomfield Train Station will travel from Bloomfield Avenue, make a right onto North Fullerton Avenue, left onto Claremont Avenue, right onto Park Street, right onto Watchung Avenue by Watchung Rail Station, bear left onto Park Street, left onto Gordonhurst Avenue, right onto Valley Road and proceed on the regular route.
