UPDATE: Bus Nos. 107, 108, 111, 115, 121, 123, 124, 125, 127, 129, 144, 154, 156, 159, 160, 161, 163, 167, 190, 191, 192, 195, 199 - Reconstruction of South Marginal Street Bridge over Park Avenue in Weehawken Through Late September 2012
UPDATE: Customers can expect between 35-50 minute travel delays in both directions. Please allow for extra travel time.
Effective immediately and continuing through late September 2012, one eastbound lane on the South Marginal Street Bridge in Weehawken (along Route 495) will be closed for construction. Buses operating eastbound to New York via Union City and Weehawken over the South Marginal Street Bridge will be directly impacted by this project.
DURING THIS TIME:
Customers traveling on any of the above list of bus routes will likely experience delays in travel on the eastbound trips operating via 30th Street in Union City and South Marginal Street in Weehawken. Customers should allow for extra travel time.
Customers traveling from Bergen or Passaic Counties may want to select routes that do not serve Union City/Weehawken when traveling inbound to New York. Suggested route may be an express trip from North Bergen Park & Ride via Route 320 or Vince Lombardi Park & Ride via Route 321.
Additionally, some outbound service delays may occur due to late arriving buses at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
It is anticipated that the weekday AM PEAK (6 AM until 10 AM) and the PM PEAK (3 PM until 7 PM) eastbound buses will experience heavy traffic congestion.
