Port Jervis Line: Buses Replace Trains due to Signal Work - Friday, December 6 to Sunday, December 8, 2019
Beginning late Friday evening, December 6 and continuing until early Sunday evening, December 8, buses will replace Port Jervis Line trains between Harriman and Port Jervis stations due to signal improvement work.
FROM Harriman Station to Port Jervis Station
Friday, December 6:
- Buses will replace the following trains from Harriman Station:
- 11:30 p.m. (Train No. 67)
- 2:09 a.m. (Train No. 69)
Saturday, December 7:
- Buses will replace ALL Port Jervis Line trains between Harriman and Port Jervis stations.
Sunday, December 8 (NOTE: A new Main/Bergen County/Port Jervis Line schedule goes into effect this day – the times below reflect the new schedule):
- Buses will replace the following trains from Harriman Station:
- 10:22 a.m. (Train No. 71)
- 12:28 p.m. (Train No. 73)
- 2:44 p.m. (Train No. 75)
- 5:09 p.m. (Train No. 77)
Train service will resume with the 7:20 p.m. (Train No. 79) departure from Harriman Station to Port Jervis Station.
FROM Port Jervis Station to Harriman Station
Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8:
- Buses replace ALL Port Jervis Line trains between Port Jervis and Harriman stations.
- Buses will depart stations at the scheduled train times.
As noted above, the Main-Bergen County-Port Jervis Lines schedule changes on Sunday, December 8. While Harriman-bound buses will continue to depart stations at the scheduled train times, please review the new schedule as some train times may differ between Saturday and Sunday.
Please allow extra travel time. Crowding is possible on certain trains due to increased holiday-season travel. Customers may consider traveling to/from nearby stations in NJ, such as Ramsey Route 17.
