UPDATE: Morris & Essex Lines - Possible 20 Minute Delays on Inbound/Outbound Trains due to Track Work - Sunday, May 20 and Weekend of June 9-10, 2018

UPDATE: Due to anticipated inclement weather, work scheduled on Saturday, May 19 will be cancelled. Work will resume on Sunday, May 20 and the weekend of June 9-10.

On Sunday, May 20 and the weekend of June 9-10 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, trains on the Morris & Essex Lines are subject to delays of up to 20 minutes due to track work in the area of Newark Broad Street Station.

During this time, only one track will be used at Broad Street. As a result, all trains will stop on the same track. Customers transferring between Montclair Line and Morris & Essex Lines’ trains should walk along the same platform for their transfer train.

These delays are in addition to delays caused by other work affecting the Morris and Essex Lines as well as work on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor to/from New York.
